Originally the home of Securicors mission critical base in London, this building was used for many years by the security firm to monitor the movements of its vehicles across the capital. Subsequently vacated, the building became a mecca for illegal raves and parties through the 1990s as Shoreditch grew into the creative capital of Europe. Retaining the original high street facade and rebuilding the rear section of the building, BuckleyGrayYeoman created a double aspect, mixed-use scheme comprising retail, offices and residential uses. A private landscape courtyard from Boundary Street provides access to the residential penthouses at the top of the building.
