The 54 metre-wide central park footbridge spans over the River Lea close to the Olympic Stadium and Zaha Hadid’s Aquatics Centre and has been converted into two separate bridges following the games. The Dublin-based studio’s design features two permanent stainless steel-clad footbridges which are linked by a central ‘blade-like’ walkway forming a Z-shaped structure.
