As part of the re-organisation of the Campus at Grangegorman, the existing mental health facilities are being replaced by a 54 bed low secure building. The project consists of a 24 bed Intensive Care Unit arranged around two courtyards at ground floor level, a 20 bed Continuity Care Unit at first floor level and a 10 bed Rehabilitation/Respite Care Unit at second floor level. The building is intended to be non-institutional in character with varying block heights and contemporary brick detailing.
