After a succession of interesting but fruitless jobs Chris decided to turn his photographic hobby into a career. This entailed swapping a sculpture course for a degree course in photography at the London College of printing. He graduated in 1988 with a first class honours and a distinction in photography.
Over time an obsessional attention to detail, a graphic style and the most precise of compositions caught the attention of some of the top practices and publishers who have commissioned Chris to shoot all over the world. He has photographed a range of projects from images for WH Smith and Marks & Spencer’s annual reports through to the dynamic architecture of Santiago Calatrava.
Chris is a dedicated meditator and keen traveller who believes the medium of photography is one of the most exciting and stimulating available.
