Soldiers of the Virginia National Guard Military Funeral Honors Program conduct Level 1 Funeral Honors training April 28, 2016, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Eight Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers from throughout the state participated in the 40-hour certification course, April 26-30, which prepares Soldiers to conduct professional military funeral honors in accordance with service tradition. Begun in January 2007, the Virginia National Guard Military Funeral Honors Program is composed of five teams located throughout the state which provide funeral details, not just to National Guard Soldiers but to veterans of all branches of the military.

The 104th Fighter Wing Civil Engineering Squadron held a promotion for Lt. Col. Sarah Sinclair on Feb. 14, 2024 at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Massachusetts. Sinclair expressed gratitude toward her fellow Airmen during the promotion as she further advances her military career, which started at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Clear SFS is home to Arctic Airmen and Guardians assigned to the 13th and 213th Space Warning Squadrons and 268th Security Forces, providing 24/7 missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness.

Illinois Army National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Anthony Gorup, the Noncommissioned Officer-Charge of the Illinois National Guard's Joint Operations Center, retired with almost 26 years of service on Sunday, May 15, during a ceremony on Camp Lincoln in Springfield. GREAT LAKES, Il. (Oct. 31, 2022) Players and staff from the Chicago Bears visited the USS Whitehat on Naval Station Great Lakes for a meet and greet event to sign autographs and take pictures with service-members, staff and their families. Opened in 1911, NSGL is the Navys largest training installation and the home of the Navys only Boot Camp. Located on over 1600 acres overlooking Lake Michigan, the installation includes 1,153 buildings with 39 on the National Register of Historic Places. NSGL supports over 50 tenant commands and elements as well as over 20,000 Sailors, Marines, Soldiers, and DoD civilians who live and work on the installation.

The Pennsylvania National Guard Associations hosts Industry Day at the Keystone Conference Center as part of their annual conference. The event offered a chance for employers and college representatives to network with Soldiers, Airmen and other employees at Fort Indiantown Gap.
