Teapot And Lid (England); Manufactured by Lambeth Art Pottery (United Kingdom); Made for Doulton Pottery and Porcelain Company (United Kingdom); molded and gilt stoneware (marquetrie ware). Rinse bowl of Böttger porcelain. The bowl has a stand ring and a somewhat out of bent mouth edge. The wall is decorated with appliqued rosa branches, between which birds, butterflies and insects are painted. The bottom of the bowl is painted with a cockie monument, consisting of prunus branches on rocks and two birds. The mouth edge is trimmed with a brown trim. Along the inside of the edge are symmetrical green tendrils painted red flowers in the middle. The appliqued rosary branches are also painted, and damaged portions are retouched. The painting is made of light blue, red, green, yellow, purple, black and gold. Gold has only been applied to the parts embossed. The bowl has two cracks in the wall and the edge has been restored.
