Actor Burt Lancaster, who got bumped off in gang style in "The Killers," the film that "discovered" him, gets killed in a prison break in "Brute Force," his latest thriller for Mark Hellinger and Universal-International. But before he met his end by bullets, Burt got a lot of other maltreatment, including this drenching by Director Jules Dassin. The latter wanted Burt to look soaked for a rain sequence -- so Burt really got soaked.
