Cristina German-born photographer and scholar Max Hutzel (1911-1988) photographed in Italy from the early 1960s until his death. The result of this project, referred to by Hutzel as Foto Arte Minore, is thorough documentation of art historical development in Italy up to the 18th century, including objects of the Etruscans and the Romans, as well as early Medieval, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque monuments. Old Jewish cemetery Bochum The Jewish cemetery Bochum is located on the Wasserstrasse in the Wiemelhausen district as part of the local cemetery there. The cemetery was first occupied in 1918. The mourning hall was built in 1917. Before 1918 there were two cemeteries in the city center. They were abandoned when the main station was built. The dead were relocated to Wiemelhausen. That is why there are tombstones of the former Jewish cemeteries. There are many new graves in the cemetery, since the municipality has grown strongly by moving contingent refugees from Russia and Ukraine.
