Portugal, Coimbra region, Loural on 2022-05-03. Report on the eco-village of Loural in the mountains of central Portugal. Here, the Klein family and their partners have been working on an ambitious project for a few years. The project is to rehabilitate a small village that has been abandoned since the year 2000 into an eco-location. On 30 hectares, the collective protects and improves the ecosystem by practising organic agriculture, reforestation and the production of green energy. In the process of restoration, this small stone village is moving towards food and energy autonomy and its vegetation is gradually coming back to life. ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (July 12, 2022) - Volunteers from the Guam Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service keep their eyes peeled for sudden movements during the 2022 Fanihi Count at Andersen Air Force Base, July 1. Nearly 100 members of the community joined to take part in the event, which aims to keep track of the fanihi, or fruit bat, population in Guam.
