YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 25, 2022) A community member participating in the annual Pride March and Festival onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) colors a picture to recognize LGBTQ community members serving in the armed forces. The celebration acknowledging LGBTQ members was spearheaded by junior Sailors from the U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka and the CFAY Multicultural Committee and included a colorful march to Kosano Park, support service booths, games, music, food, and refreshments. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
