The insulin pump, controlled by another device, gives Manuella insulin throughout the day. Thanks to this device, she can add a bolus of insulin depending on her diet. At high school she has to cope with controlling her blood sugar levels and administering insulin herself. During her sports lesson her pump developed a problem. She goes to the infirmary to set up a new pump.
