Olympic Scoreboard Flashes Welcome: The Large Scoreboard to be used in the Olympic Stadium at Los Angeles, Calif., During the International Games July 30 to August 14, flashed its first message on June 22 when it sent out a welcome to the World to attend the Games. Ten Men will be required to operate the scoreboard which is 43 feet across and 22 feet deep. The center flag pole above will carry the flag of the nation winning the event recorded atop the board, with the flag of the country placing second to the left, and the flag of the country placing third to the right. White House rooms: Lincoln Bedroom furniture and furnishings. A holograph copy of the Gettysburg Address, one of five made by President Abraham Lincoln from his original, and the only copy signed, dated, and titled by President Lincoln. The note on the frame states the holograph is a gift of Oscar B. Cintas, an industrialist and former Cuban Ambassador to the United States. The framed document is on display in the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House, Washington, D.C.
