Stateroom-Classroom -- This view of the stateroom-classroom shows how one wall opens up like a movie set so that students can watch demonstrations in the room. When the wall is pulled Ghut, students can practice duties in the room, which is the exact dimensions and has the same appointments of an actual ship board stateroom. The unique classroom resulted from an idea that came to Lt. Commander Frank Henderson, head of the school, when he saw the sets in the broad way production, "The Voice of the Turtle."
