Japanese Freighter Aground -- The Japanese freighter Kenkoku Maru lays in about two feet of water after running aground near here early this morning in a dense fog and stormy weather. The vessel suffered severe underwater damage, but some thought she could be refloated at high tide, meanwhile the crow of 54 is remaining aboard. April 28, 1951. (Photo by AP Wirephoto).
