Preparatory work for rails on Fifth Tvärgatan, where the track ended the first years with a round track. In order to use the open trailers later, a tram loop was built around the chisel block. This was done when the boom house line was built. Förberedelsearbeten för rälsläggning på Femte Tvärgatan, där spåret slutade de första åren med ett rundgångsspår. För att kunna använda de öppna släpvagnarna senare anlades en spårslinga runt kvarteret Mejseln. Detta gjordes när Bomhuslinjen anlades. The stage manager, Paul Smythe, can just be seen in the back of the van, which is actually an old furniture removal van.

The 'Nieuw Amsterdam' Dutch ocean liner built in Rotterdam for the Holland America Line. It was the most popular ship of the 30s besides the Queen Mary. Construction on the new liner was carried out at the N.V. Rotterdam Dry-dock Company. Christened by Queen Wilhelmina in April 1937,

Photograph of 'Queen Mary', then known as 'Hull Number 534', under construction at John Brown's shipyard, Clydebank. Work on the massive liner had been halted between 1931 and 1934 due to lack of funds, but the merger of Cunard and White Star Line and a nine-and-a-half million pound government loan saved the vessel. She was launched in September 1934 by Queen Mary. Date: 1934
