Recherches sur l'usage des feuilles dans les plantes Göttingen E. Luzac fils 1754 leaves osmosis Woods Hole, An illustrative diagram depicting a scientific experiment. The central focus is a large, cylindrical container with a lid. Inside the container, a leaf is submerged in liquid, while a vertical rod extends through the lid, possibly serving as a means to observe the effects of the experiment.
