The Sudanese Women May Vote - Women - as women - have no votes in the Sudan. However, the law gives a vote for the graduates' constituency to all Sudanese persons over 21 who possess certain educational qualifications.There are only eight Sudanese women so far qualified, and here are three of them registering their votes in Omdurman for the graduates' constituency.They are Miss Thoraya Ambabi, Miss Amna Ibrahim Malek, and Miss Malthum 'Omar. C. Wu (also known as Wu Guozhen). The Anti-American Support for Japan Movement was a patriotic movement against the resurrection of Japanese militarism by US imperialism.

A member of the Air National Guard, 169th Fighter Wing's Civil Engineer Squadron from McEntire Air National Guard Station, S.C., gives frozen popsicles to school children in the Costa Rican village of Pueblo Nuevo. The 169th CES was deployed to Costa Rica for their annual two-week training to provide humanitarian aid by constructing a new school house and improvements on other structures. On May 23rd, various schools from Shanghai organized a political support group after the occurrence of the May Twentieth Incident. On the 26th, students held a meeting in Jiaotong University to protest against Kuomintang's arrest of students. The May Twentieth Incident involved the beating of protesting students in major cities.
