District Commissioner Makes His Monthly Tour -- In the village of Hohoe there is a meeting of the Hospital Committee. The hospital committee comprises two African clerks employed toy the trading companies, the African Doctor, Mrs. Cooksey, wife of the manager of John Holts, a trading concern; the Chief of the village, and a Dutch father, who is doing missionary work. As the Father was unable to come that day the District Commissioner was asked to take his place. In between the D.C. and Mrs. Cooksey is the Chief of Hohoe. On Mrs. Cooksey's left is the Doctor. Mrs. Cooksey keeps a housewifelyopen during their inspection of the hospital, she is asking pie D. C. to make a note that the Bathing facilities are Inadequate. Operating deep in the jungles of Burma, their mission was multi-faceted, encompassing guerrilla warfare, espionage, and sabotage against Japanese forces.
