According to the original caption, 'at this works all power units are produced, assembled and tested in one section, which employs over 1,000 people and has an output capacity of nearly 2,000 cars and commercial vehicle engines per week. The mixture of dyestuff and water so forced is run to the presses below where the dyestuff is filtered» while the liquid runs to drain. If necessary the dyestuff may be washed and is then transferred as a sticky paste to the barrels in the front of the picture. This is the Lapranao Mine Power Plant which was bombed by 250 pound para-dimo. Most of the dynamos were intact. A few pieces of machinery had fragments of shrapnel pierced in them. The roof of the main building was completely destroyed.
