Stretching before a training session, United States Air Force Captain Jeff Kuzma,a space engineer, is training to make the US Olympic team in the 800-meter run. He is part of the World Class Athlete program that provides active duty, Guard and Reserve athletes the opportunity to train full time in their sport for up to two years. Rain or shine, CPT Kuzma is running the miles away on the Air Force Academy grounds. His goal is an Olympic medal, and building Air Force recognition and awareness in the public community, 22 June 2000.
