Butler, managing director of Butler Air Transport --- will be run part from parents concern, which runs airlines in NSW and Queensland. Mr. W.V. Fyfe, Surveyor-General of Western Australia, since 1941, who will be visiting Sydney for the Conference of Boards of Surveyors next week. Mr. Fyfe, Director of Land Settlement from 1945-48, inquired into the pastoral industry of Western Australia as a Royal Commissioner in 1940 and reported on Australia land tenure and valuation systems in 1944 and 1948. he was Chief Valuer for Western Australia for 12 years. Premier Mossadeq Of Persia - He Addresses Journalists From Majlis Sanctuary.The latest picture of Doctor Mossadeq, the Persian Prime Minister, pictured during his first Press conference to foreign journalists in the Majlis, the Persian Parliament building, where the Premier has taken sanctuary from threats of assassination. This was his first public utterance since barricading himself in his hide-out.During the reading of a long statement-which appeared to be a preview of what is likely to be an unfavourable Persian reply to the British Note which has been presented-the Premier's voice trailed away several times. He swayed on his feet, and when it seemed that he was about to have another of his not infrequent fainting fits, he was supported by his colleagues. May 28, 1951.

Twenty three German Doctors and Scientists are now standing trial in the famous dock at Nuremberg for to turning and murdering concentration camp inmates by means of inhuman experiments. Ghastly stories are being told in court of the murders and atrocities they are alleged to have committed. Some of them are famous throughout Europe for their medical or scientific accomplishments. All have pleaded "Not Gullty". February 1, 1947.

Mr. DeanState Cabinet today appointed Mr Arthur Dean, LLM, KC, as a judge of the Supreme Court.In announcing the appointment, the Attorney- General (Mr Oldham) said that Mr Dean had served with the AIP in Prance from 1916-19. He had practiced as a barrister since 1919, and was appointed a KC in 1944, Mr Dean was Warden of Convocation of the Melbourne University and Chairman of the Council of the Presbyterian Ladies College. He is the author of a number of authoritative publications. February 11, 1949.
