Fashion model Ruth Ellis who is accused of murdering racing driver David Blakely on Easter Sunday, was remanded at Hampstead, London, Yesterday Wednesday, Until next Thursday. Blakely, aged 25, of Tanza Road, Hampstead was shot dead outside a public house near his home. He was to have driven at Goodwood Public house near his home. He was to have driven at Goodwood on Easter Monday. 28 year old Mrs. Ellis appeared in court with her hair dyed silver blue. Her home is in Kensington, London. April 21, 1955.

Countess Arrested After Cabaret Killing.A few minutes after this picture of the lovely Countess Pia Bellentani was made at a fashionable week-end party here, the Countess was said to have suddenly risen from her seat and shot and killed Carlo Sacchi, a rich Italian industrialist. The Countess, together with her husband, one of the financial backers of Sacchi, was arrested. Count Bellenati denied the killed might have been prompted by jealousy. Police investigations have so far found no clues to teh motive. September 20, 1948.
