Deputy Commanding Geranel Brigadier General Gil Ferguson hosted an interactive discussion about 1st Special Force Command (Airborne) (1SFC(A)) current and future plans during a Special Forces Association Convention (SFACON), where Green Berets, Soldiers and retirees attended a four-day event held from September 21-24, 2022, in the Colorado Springs area including Fort Carson. JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON - (Feb. 8, 2024) - Capt. Franca Jones, commander, Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC), held a NMRC Enterprise All Hands at the Military and Family Readiness Center during her visit to Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU) San Antonio. On July 8, 2022, Army Support Activity Fort Dix dedicated Military Training Classroom Building 5507 to the late New Jersey State Senator John Edward Dimon. Senator Dimon was a US Army veteran of World War II and strong supporter of Fort Dix and the US military during his time in office. Current Fort Dix Base Commander COL Jon Brierton and Former Fort Dix Base Commander COL (R) Michael Warner were the keynote speakers at the dedication ceremony.
