Overall the company loaded 128 items on to railcars over the multi-day rail movement at the installation to deploy the equipment eventually to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Five personnel with the Fort McCoy Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) assisted with the rail movement and its coordination. The 411th is the latest of many units over the last decade to hold rail movements at Fort McCoy. As a matter of fact, for the many decades of Fort McCoys existence, the capability to transport cargo and equipment to and from the installation by rail has always been there. The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) is designed to restore payload and performance that were traded from light tactical vehicles to add protection in recent conflict, according to the Army. JLTVs give service members more options in a protected mobility solution that is also the first vehicle purpose-built for modern battlefield networks. During a joint force exercise on Sept. 8, 2022 at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, members of the 109th Air Control Squadron and the 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) drove Polaris Military RZRs that were modified with mobile battle management command and control equipment that controlled multiple aircraft from the ground. This technology allowed the aircraft to be able strike simulated targets with the provided information from the air battle managers.

A training site for the Unit Movement Officer Deployment Planning Course taught by the Wisconsin Military Academy/426th Regional Training Institute is shown Dec. 9, 2022, covered in fresh snow at Fort McCoy, Wis. Railcars that were loaded by Soldiers with the Army Reserves 411th Engineer Company with military vehicles and equipment are shown Nov. 17, 2022, at Fort McCoy, Wis. Overall the company loaded 128 items on to railcars over the multi-day rail movement at the installation to deploy the equipment eventually to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Five personnel with the Fort McCoy Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) assisted with the rail movement and its coordination. The 411th is the latest of many units over the last decade to hold rail movements at Fort McCoy. As a matter of fact, for the many decades of Fort McCoys existence, the capability to transport cargo and equipment to and from the installation by rail has always been there. And its a capability that will continue, Fort McCoy LRC officials said.
