Communication of the Matchmaker III Squadron in Hamilton, Bermuda. The commander of the Squadron, Captain at sea F. Visee, appeals to the joined crews. Hr.ms. Limburg was part of the Nato Squadron Matchmaker III from January 15 to March 3, 1967 (Matchmaker was the precursor of the Standing Naval Force Atlantic (StanavForlant) that has existed from 1968). During that period, Matchmaker III also consisted of USS Zellars (DD777), HMS Berwick (F115) and USS McCloy (DE1038). The Netherlands led the command about Matchmaker III from 15 January to 20 August 1967. Commander of the Matchmaker III Squadron (Commatchron) was Captain at sea F. Visee. Commander of the Hr.Ms flagship. Limburg was Captain-Lieutenant at sea J. Jansen.

Blitz Repair Squad's London Camp- Everyday Life With the Blitz Repair Teams, London, England, UK, 1944 Women of the Women's Voluntary Service (WVS) arrive early to prepare breakfast for the men of the 'Blitz Repair Squad', a team of builders who have come to London from various parts of the country to help repair damage caused by V1 flying bombs. The women can be seen walking past some of the mess and ablution huts built along the road in London's Onslow Square. The men are billeted in many of the houses that line the Square.

Freedom Of Hastings For Montgomery: A general view at the Winkle club ceremony on board the Hastings lifeboat, which was drawn up in the street for the occasion fishermen and their wives and families are giving the Field-Marshal a hearty welcome.The Freedom of Hastings was conferred on Field-Marshal Viscount Montgomery to-day, Friday, when the Mayor, Councillor F.W.chambers, presented him with a piece of plats inscribed with the names of the victories and ornamented with pictures in enamel of Cinque Ports fighting ships surmounted by a gilt figure of St. Michael (Patron saint of Hastings) slaying a dragon. The field marshal was also made a members of the famous Winkle club, into which he was initiated by local fishermen. March 08, 1940.
