SILVERDALE, Wash. (April 1, 2022) - Sailors assigned to Trident Refit Facility, Bangor (TRFB) play a friendly game of Ultimate Football during an Enlisted Leadership Development Program (ELDP) course. The ELDP is a three-tier course designed to invest in Sailors leadership skills during their tour at TRFB. TRFB supports the nations strategic deterrence mission repairing, incrementally overhauling, and modernizing Pacific Fleet strategic ballistic missile submarines during refits.

In early April, cadets from the Bronco Battalion of Boise State University gathered on Gowen Field to complete the Army Combat Fitness Test.The Spring Semester of 2022 is nearing completion and the cadets of the Boise State University Army ROTC Bronco Battalion remained active through April as they marched toward the finish line. Cadets completed the Army Combat Fitness Test, a 12 and 8 mile Ruck March along the City of Boise Green Belt Trail, and a personal development workshop on establishing financial stability. Several cadets will receive their commission as 2Lt.s In the Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard on May 6, 2022, and graduate the following day, May 7, 2022.

June is Army Heritage Month. Army Heritage Month activities were conducted to recognize diversity, promote Army values, cohesion, teamwork, and esprit. On 17 June, teams competed for the TAMC Commanders Cup at the company level in flag football, basketball, volleyball, 4x120m swim relay, 10K team race and tug-of war. Over 200 participated in Fridays events - and observed Headquarters Company (Wolfpack) take home the Commanders Cup!

Joshua Blodgett, the all-time leading goal scorer in Armed Forces Soccer Championship Tournament history, chests the ball upfield during All-Army's 1-0 loss to All-Navy in the 2008 Armed Forces Championship Tournament finale Feb. 5 at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C. Blodgett, of Fort Carson, Colo., got the Army off to a roaring start in the tourney by scoring three goals in a span of 2 minutes, 15 seconds during the Soldiers' 3-2 victory over the Marines in their opening game. Blodgett, 32, has tallied 22 goals in seven years of Armed Forces Championship Tournament play.
