The aim is to take childrens fear of physicians and hospitals. Besides it is also a good opportunity for medical students to work with children. In France this program is organized by the student association ANEMF.

Reportage on Anne-Cécile Ratsimbason, a fashion designer for chronic patients in Nice, France. Anne-Cécile helps the patients by creating bespoke clothing and accessories that are adapted to the pathology and physical condition. She is seen here visiting a child suffering from Hirschsprungs disease. The little girl has neither intestin nor colon and wears a central catheter for exclusive parenteral nutrition, as well as a gastrostomy button and an ileostomy (an artificial anus). This is the designers 4th visit. This time she has designed an accessory enabling the stomy to be carried more easily. The system will flatten the pouch without compressing it. She is also working on a vest in waterproof fabric, with a pouch to hold the catheter so that the little girl can shower normally.
