Mme. Anastasia Tchaikovsky, arrived in NY aboard the S.S. Berergiain 1928. She claimed to be the Grand duchess Anastasia, the youngest daughter of the murdered Czar Nicholas II Russia. In 1920, she was pulled from a Berlin canal and was sent to a mental hospital. She later changed her name to Anna Anderson. Ingrid Bergman portrayed her in the 1956 the film ANASTASIA.
