Clarence House - Princess Elizabeth's London Home -- The dining room of Clarence House, the official London residence of the Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh. The Wall decoration, in the Adam style, and dating from the nineteenth century, is picked out in white on pale apple-green, and frames portraits of George III, and his children, which are believed to have always belonged to Clarence House. The mahogany dining table and chairs are fine examples of late eighteenth century work. The curtains are white figured damask. October 27, 1949.
