White House Rooms: Diplomatic Reception Room, installation of antique wallpaper. Unidentified workers paint walls and restore antique wallpaper after the wallpaper was hung in the Diplomatic Reception Room, White House, Washington, D.C. The wallpaper, entitled Views of North America, was produced by French manufacturer Zuber 26 Company in 1834, and features various scenes of the North American landscape. It was installed as part of First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy's White House restoration and renovation project.
