Mr. Ego's Marvellous Story February 1, 1807 Thomas Rowlandson In an elegant drawing room, a plump man, Mr. Ego, gesticulates as he talks and holds a cup. His story has caused a footman to turn to listen and drop his tray, overbalancing another servant's plate of food. Other figures are seated in a semi-circle and a woman serves coffee or hot chocolate by a table at left next to a fireplace.
