The decorated sloop with the image and a group of sea officers, preceded by two sloops with musicians and sailors, sailing through the Keizersgracht at the Reguliersgracht. Spectators are on the bridges and along the shore.

The Railway Accident at Abbotts Ripton, Huntingdon: general view of the scene of the accident, 1876. On 21 January 1876, the Edinburgh-London Special Scotch Express was involved in a collision, during a blizzard, with a coal train on the Great Northern Railway main line. A second collision occurred minutes later when an express to Leeds crashed into the wreckage obstructing the northbound line. Thirteen passengers died, and 53 passengers and 6 traincrew members were injured. Factors included signal failure, bad weather and poor visibility. Spain, Andalusia, Huelva province. Opening of the public passenger service on the Tharsis-Odiel River railway line. The line was built by the British Tharsis Sulphur and Cooper Company, which owned several mines in the Huelva area of Tharsis. Ir was the second railway to be built in the province of Huelva, and it ran from the Tharsis mines to the port of Corrales, near Huelva. A single-track, 809-metre-long, and iron wharf was built on the Odiel River. Later, new branches were added to the main line; in 1881 a 15 km section was built that went to the Laguzano Mine. On 19 July 1881, The Rio-Tinto Company Limited, the concessionaire of the Rio Tinto mines since 1873, opened its railway to passenger traffic.
