Chief of the Valley Police District (Inspector Clark) has issued ten traffic control men with special white gauntlets trimmed with luminous tape. The tape is designed to glow brilliantly in the light from ear headlamps. Inspector Clark said the gauntlets would make traffic control safer for police. "Motorists will be able to see them more clearly and follow their directions more easily," he said.
