The mask of Tutankhamun is a gold mask of the 18th-dynasty ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun (reigned 1334-1325 BC). It was discovered by Howard Carter in 1925 in tomb KV62 in the Valley of the Kings, and is now housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The death mask is one of the best-known works of art in the world and a prominent symbol of ancient Egypt

Head of a making Egyptian. From a hard, dark rock with a slight green color engraving, the semi-life-sized head of a man is worked. He once belonged to a statue, probably standing and with a back pillar, recorded in the information recorded. The head is aborted in the upper area of the neck, but otherwise completely. The hair of the left side are opened up to half the height of the ear. The right eyebrow is damaged, the nose and the lower part of the beard attached on the chin are broken off. The man carries a wig on her head, which runs out to the sides and at the back of the head in a thick hair mass. The hair is structured by fine, over the forehead horizontally parallel Ritzlien, which bend to the sides perpendicular and emphasize the contour of the head in particular. The precisely crafted ears are pushed slightly forward through the wig. In addition to the wig, the man carries a braided beard.
