Monument to the synagogue on Lappenberg in Hildesheim from 1988 south side at the former location of the synagogue from the 19th century, which was destroyed in the pogrom night in 1938, a cube made of marble stone was built in 1988. The four pages show the topics of selection east side, cult north side, law south side, Shoah West side. On the top there is a miniature of Jerusalem, worn by four lions. A memorial stone from 1947 is opposed to the 1988 memorial. On the other side of the street is the brick building of the former Jewish school, which was also destroyed in 1938.

The Lyon Tablet is an ancient bronze tablet that bears the transcript of a speech given by the Roman emperor Claudius. The surviving bottom portion of the tablet was discovered in 1528 at Croix Rousse Hill (on the site of the Sanctuary of the Three Gauls), in Lyon, France. He made the inscribed speech before the Roman Senate in 48 AD.
