Photo album with 48 Cartes-de-Visite offered to Maarschalk count the Castellane. Photo album in red-brown leather folder. The album is provided on the front and rear of decorated fittings, the two locks are missing. The front and back have geometric motifs and stars in relief. The bracts have a sprayer motif. The album contains 25 insert journals with gold on cut. In it 48 Cartes-de-Visite in Passe-Partouts. The album is apparent from the handwritten assignment in the front on June 26, 1860 by Laura Cordelia Knapp offered to the Maréchal Graaf de Castellane. It concerns recordings of members of (noble) French, English, German and Italian families such as Beaulaincourt, Buffano, Von Hatzfeldt, Hamilton, the Pourtalès, Mellinet, D'Haubersart, De Vassart, De Beaumont, San Arpino, D'hornoy and from high soldiers and a consul from the United States.

Part of photo album with recordings from Volendam, Dordrecht, Gorinchem and Woudrichem. Photo album in dark blue linen band. The album contains 30 blades with a total of 119 prints. The bracts are also covered with photos. In addition, 13 separate photos belong to this series. The recordings are probably made by the English photographer G. Hidderley during a trip with friends or family through the Netherlands. This resulted in a series of five photo albums. The present album contains recordings made in Noord-Holland, Volendam, Dordrecht, Gorinchem and Woudrichem: Genreferdelen, village, city, port and street faces, as well as some portraits that fit into the pictural tradition.
