. In a rocky landscape, Maria is collapsed in the foreground and is supported by John. Behind and beside them the three holy women, who have folded their hands in worship. The woman on the left in the foreground and John see up (to the cross). At the top right, a soldier helps the blind Longinus to target the lance. In the middle at the top of the start for the cross of one of the murderers. Maria is wearing a cloak over her dress and a veil with frowned edge. The other women also carry about their rugs of coats and moreover children; Two of them have pulled the cloak overlooked, the left woman wears a turban. Johannes is dressed in a cloak over an undergarment, longinus in a short-sleeved jacket over a long-sleeved shirt, the soldier in a mallet paper. Both the latter wear point hats with a bour reet around it and stockings in high shoes.
