The leaf is sewn on a cotton steak and the pattern lines of the butterfly (bottom) are with white tracing threads through the leaf and sewn. Hereby a white strip of paper is stuck with the text "2nd ouvrage" (second work). The extra butterfly wings (top) are also processed in this way and, moreover, filled with a mesh side ground.
