Image of the floats with an allegorical representation of the Union of Utrecht (1579), the seventh of the eight parts of the Maskerade of the students of the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, held on the occasion of the 215th Dies Natalis of the University of Applied Sciences on 25 June 1851. On the floats there is a canopy that proposes the Utrecht council chamber, with the crowned weapon of the Spanish king above the seven arrows of the Republic on the roof. Both Herauten hold the standard with the weapon of the Prince of Orange, whose return was secretly prepared. For this, the personifications of vigilance and caution are behind a table with the document to be signed. The Dutch Lion is in the main wagon in the Dutch garden, surrounded by the banners of the seven provinces.

Third Bookplate of the Earl of Aylesford 1777 of after Heneage Finch, 4th Earl of Aylesford Heneage Finch, 4th earl of Aylesford was an accomplished etcher who admired Piranesi and Rembrandt. After succeeding to the title in 1777, the earl designed and etched bookplates for his own use, with this being an example of the third design out of four that he produced over time. Packington Hall, mentioned in the text below, was the family seat, and the new owner's dedication to learning and classical tradition is suggested by the books, ink-wells, quill pens, and substantial fluted column..
