Album with performances by and by artists mentioned in the Lexicon 'Pilkington's Dictionary of Painters', 1805 Factice album with 125 prints and one title page on 122 album blades. Factice album, that is, an album compiled by a collector or owner of the prints. This collected work is bound in four tires, with this book band as the first part. The album has been compiled with the publication of an artists of encyclopedia written by Matthew Pilkington in 1767, edited and revised by Johann Heinrich Füssli in 1805, as a guideline for the collected prints. The cut texts from this book have been incorporated into the album with the album blades as Passe-Partouts. The edges of pages 1 to 172 of the second part are stuck in this album in this way. The book consists of nine parts with regularly formed objects as the subject. The polyhocks, or polyhedra, are shown in increasing complexity and with increasing number of sides. Wenzel Jamnitzer intended mathematical, spatial and cosmological theories from writings such as Plato's 'Timaeus' and works by Euclides of Alexandria in an innovative way by reflecting them in mirror and rotation symmetry. In the parts, the four elements are represented by a (truncated) multi -surface: fire through the tetraer, air through the octaëder, earth through the hexaëder (cube) and water through the icosaëder. Photo album with recordings of streets, squares and canals in Amsterdam, various manufacturers, c. 1850 - c. 1875 Photo album in brown leather strap with copper batter and locks. The band's ridge has been repaired with black linen. The bracts are made of changeant paper. The album contains 15 thick cardboard sheets of gold on cut with a total of 30 cabinet photos in passe-partouts. With the exception of two, a caption is mentioned above and/or below the passe-partout for all prints. The majority of the cabinet photos on the back also have a inscription (often in two different manuscripts) that largely corresponds to that on the Passe-Partout. The album gives an image of Amsterdam in the third quarter of the nineteenth century: streets, squares, canals and buildings and four panoramas of the city. Prentalbum with scenes from the New Testament in Cartouches, c. 1570 - c. 1610 Prentalbum with scenes from the New Testament in ornamental frames. The album contains 56 prints of the same engraving with ornamental cartouches. From this, windows were cut in which 56 small engravings were carefully mounted with scenes from the New Testament. Below and above the shows, the relevant Bible passages and a short quote from the filling hole are written with pen in brown ink. In the front of the album, a small engraving is stuck with Johannes the Baptist as a child. The print has an Italian caption and is framed with fragments of early 16th-century metal cuts with ornaments, birds, monkeys and a water mill. The album contains 24 thick cardboard sheets of gold on cut with a total of 48 cabinet photos in passe-partouts. Of these, 37 have stated a caption above and/or below the passe-partout. The majority of the cabinet photos on the back also have a inscription (often in two different manuscripts) that largely corresponds to that on the Passe-Partout. The album gives an image of Amsterdam in the third quarter of the nineteenth century: streets, squares, canals and buildings. Studbook of the students of the colonial school for girls and women in the Hague Part II (1930-1949). Studbook of the Colonial School for Girls and Women, a training institute that opened its doors in The Hague in September 1921. In quarterly courses, the students, almost without exception were engaged or married to men who left Dutch-India, prepared for a life there. The studbook, consisting of two parts, contains the registration of the students. It has a black linen cover, the bracts have a marble motif. The interior of part II consists of 161 pre-printed pages with columns and rows that have been completed by hand.
