Traditional Zardozi and Karchupi artisans are now struggling due to the low prices of machine-made embroidery from India and other Asian countries, rising costs, and declining demand, which threaten their craft in Bangladesh. If things continue this way without government support, these intricate embroidery techniques face an uncertain future.
