Woman with mirror and jester: cartoon on the precious rigid folding collar, ca. 1600. Cartoon on the vanity, shown in luxurious clothing. An elegantly dressed woman, half-lived, is dressed in the Japon with a wide pleated collar: a sign of standing and wealth. As jewelry, she wears earrings, a ring and bracelets. Looking into the hand mirror, she does not only see her own mirror image, but also the head of the jester behind her. On the shoulder of the jester is a cat showing his back, a marot in his right hand.
