Travel album with recordings of artworks, people and sights in Spain, various manufacturers, c. 1850 - c. 1875 scrapbook Photo album with plates of green velvet, copper edges and two locks. The title 'España' appears on the frontplate, performed in copper letters. The bracts are covered with a green woven fabric with a changeant motif. The album contains 39 sheets of gold on cut with 54 photos and 2 prints. The objects are partly inserted and partly stuck. The album was probably compiled by an unknown traveler by Spain. In view of the French -speaking captions, a Frenchman may be. They are mainly recordings of artworks that were exhibited at the time in the Prado in Madrid: paintings by Titian, B.E. Murillo, Velázques, G. B. Salvi, G. Reni, J. Pantoja de la Cruz, D. Crespi and J. de Juanes and Schilden and Bokals.
