The EMIA recruits its students from among active non-commissioned officers and non-commissioned soldiers selected by competition. The cadets follow a two-year training course. The exposition features static displays of ROK military equipment from all branches along with Eighth Army military vehicles. The Gyeryong World Military Culture Expo is aimed at exhibiting various aspects relating to military culture and to serve as an educational forum. The expo runs through Oct. 23.
