Malta Knights' Reunion In Rome -- The Cardinals who belong to the Order, heading the procession. One of the most remarkable pilgrimages in the history of the Church began on Wednesday, when 600 knights of the Sovereign Order of Malta walked in procession through the basilica of St. Paul-Outside-the-Walls. Remains Of Saint Come Back To The Priory He Founded -- Carmelite monks carrying casket containing the remains of St. Simon Stock, at Aylesford, Kent, England, today. The saint founded the Aylesford priory over 700 years ago. His remains have come from Bordeaux where they have lain since the crusades. But today they were reinterred at the abbey he founded. The ceremony marked the occasion of the closing of the seventh centenary year of the scapular vision.Aylesford priory was the home of the first Carmelite friars in England.
