1st Battalion Welsh Guards, Corps of Drums, begins their performance at the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) compound March 30, 2022 at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The British Army maintains a Corps of Drums in each Foot Guards Battalion. The platoon is made up of Guardsmen trained to play drums and bugles. Multiple Corps of Drums may be 'massed' together on certain occasions. All members of the Corps are called drummers (shortened to 'Dmr') regardless of the instrument they play.

In Kapelle a memorial ceremony has been held since 1950 for 229 French and 20 Moroccan soldiers from the Second World War that are buried at the Kapelle military cemetery. After the ceremony, a deilé is held for the city hall of Kapelle that preceded by the Marine Chapel of the Royal Netherlands Marine (Markap).
