When David Cecil was recovering in hospital from a chest complaint, he was told to blow up balloons to strengthen his lungs. He did and he found that he could make the other patients laugh by twisting the balloons into animal shapes. Now, wearing "bald head" make-up and billed as Windy Blow, he is to appear in TV Music Hall on Saturday. Viewers will see him make shapes like the giraffe and the swan shown here, which he does by twisting one balloon with the other. January 12, 1954. (Photo by Daily Mirror).
