The troops are seen with their colors flying, showcasing their presence and activity during World War I. This image was later issued with the symbol "E" and used for various purposes. Soldiers from the American military undergo trench warfare training during World War One. The soldiers are seen maneuvering through a trench, with sandbags stacked high on either side. This training aimed to prepare them for the harsh realities of combat and improve their defensive tactics.
