Eva Braun's Photo Albums, ca. 1913 - ca. 1944. These albums are attributed to Eva Braun (four are claimed by her friend Herta Schneider, nee Ostermeyer) and document her life from ca. 1913 to 1944. There are many photographs of Eva, her sisters and their children, Herta Schneider and her children, as well as photographs of Eva's vacations, family members and friends. Included also are photographs taken by and of Eva Braun at Hitler's chalet Berghof (or Kehlstein), photographs of Hitler and his entourage, visitors to Berghof and the scenery around Berchtesgaden, and some studio portraits of Eva and members of her family.

Todd, F.R.S., to be Chairman of the British Government's Advisory Council on Scientific Policy on the retirement of Sir Henry Tizard, F.R.S., at the end of March this year.Professor A.R. Todd, F.R.S., has been Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Cambridge since 1944. He was born in 1907 and was educated at Allan Glen's school, University of Glasgow. John Potter, of Adelaide, winner of heat two of the national search for Australia's Pop star, heard on Saturday evening at eight o'clock. As winner of last week's heat, Mr. Potter is eligible to enter the semi-finals in December, and a chance at the title of Australia's Pop star and the £500 first prize. John Potter -- Six singers from four States will compete on Sun station 2UE tomorrow night in a nationwide search for Australia's top popular vocalist. They will compete in the fourth heat of the show Australia's Pop star, broadcast at 8pm over the major network. The six vocalists are Sydney singers Harold Rugless and Arthur Hansford. The Hon. Robert Cecil -- New Studio Portrait of The Hon. Robert Cecil, elder son of the Parliamentary Under Secretary of the State for Foreign Affairs, Viscount Cranborne, heir of the Marquess of Salisbury, who has just celebrated his "coming of age". The celebrations began on Oct. 29th, with a family dance given by Lord and Lady Salisbury at their 300 years old seat, Hatfield House, in Hertfordshire. The celebrations were planned to last five days. December 14, 1937.

The Churchill Family: Randolph Frederick Edward Spencer Churchill, M.B.E. -- Born 28th May, 1911, son of Sir Winston and Lady Churchill. First Marriage, to the Hon. Pamela Digby, Dissolved in 1946, second marriage,1948, to Miss June Osborne. He had a son by his first marriage and a daughter by the second. A lecturer and journalist, he was Conservative Member of Parliament for Preston, 1940-45. But he still retains his sphinx-like silence. Not so son Randolph, who for five years during the war was a member of Parliament, and lost his seat in the great Labor landslide of 1945. He could perhaps be described as waspish, despite his considerable bulk, and many British institutions, like the popular Press and commercial television, have felt his sting.
