Volaires sketch of two women with a child is an example of the numerous figure studies he executed on blue-gray prepared paper with black and white chalk. This drawing likely did not relate to a later painting, but instead seems to have been produced as a visual record of the artists creative experimentation.

Both structures house the collections of the Museo Civico. Prints of a ceramic sculpture of Mary Queen of Heaven with putti and donors that Hutzel incorrectly attributed to Andrea della Robbia, a damaged fresco of Christ by Lorenzo da Viterbo, and coats-of-arms (14th century). Antiquities: Prints of the archeological collection include architectural sculpture, an alabaster skull, and Roman gravestones. Negatives include antique vessels.
